Baptism Information 2025
-Spanish Baptism scheduled on the second Saturday of each month.
-English baptism scheduled on the third Saturday of each month.
Our next baptism class in Spanish is on September 7th, next baptism class in English is on September 17th. Please call the parish office to register for either class.
UPDATE! 2026 Ceremonies and Mass Intentions
Our book for Quinceañera/Wedding ceremonies or mass intentions for the following year, 2026, will open September 29th. For reservations of Quinceañeras or Weddings, an appointment with Fr. Kishor needs to be made 1st. For any questions, please call the parish office.
Young Ladies Grand Institute #221
The Y.L.G.I #221 will be having a meeting on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
St. Joachim’s Parish Festival Meeting
A parish festival meeting has been scheduled for September 18, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall. We highly encourage volunteers and members of parish ministries to attend this parish festival meeting. Thank you!

In solidarity with 40 Days for Life, we in Stockton seek to peacefully pray, fast, and offer outreach to families in crisis pregnancies. We invite you to spend Sept. 25 – Nov. 3 in witness to life. Faith Formation Classes
Faith formation classes will begin the week of the 16th! Please review your calendar for class date and time. For any questions regarding Faith Formation please call the Religious Education office at 209-862-2878.
Parents Meeting
Important First Holy Communion Orientation
This orientation is for parents of BOTH 1St and 2nd First Holy Communion. Orientation is on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH inside the Church, 3:00 p.m. in ENGLISH for both 1st & 2nd year First Communion
4:30p.m. SPANISH for both 1st & 2nd year First Communion.
It is MANDATORY for a parent to attend this Orientation.
Important Confirmation Orientation
We will be having orientation on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st inside the Church for both 1st year and 2nd year parents of Confirmation students.
3:00 p.m. 1st year Confirmation and
4:30 p.m. 2nd year Confirmation
Orientation is MANDATORY a parent to attend.
Collection: Catholic University of America
This weekend, the diocese will take up the National Collection for The Catholic University of America. Catholic University is a national research university, in the heart of Washington, D.C., with over 5,700 undergraduate and graduate students in more than 250 academic programs. By giving to the collection, you are supporting future Catholic leaders, both religious and lay, who are being formed by an exceptional, faith-rooted education. The University’s various research and training initiatives support dioceses and parishes in responding to the most pressing needs of their faithful. A few examples of how the University serves the Church and nation include The Catholic Project, an initiative that brings together clergy and laity to address the challenges that the Catholic Church faces in the U.S. by contributing education, formation, research, events, and media; a master’s program in Ecclesial Administration and Management; and a credentialing program that prepares recent graduates to serve as campus ministers.
