St. Joachim’s Altar Society Easter Donations 

St. Joachim’s Altar Society is now accepting donations for Easter Lilies to decorate the church for Easter Sunday. Easter Lilies envelopes are now available in the church or parish office. Donations will be accepted until Easter Day (March 31st). Thank you! 

 

Lent Season Reminder

Please remember that during lent, it is not permitted to decorate the church with flowers. 

 

St. Joachim’s Important Announcement  

El Campestre Dos Authentic Mexican Food Restaurant is helping St. Joachim’s Church by opening the restaurant on the first Sunday of the month from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Starting the first Sunday of May 5, 2024. All proceeds will be donated to St. Joachim’s Church. Please we ask all parishioners to participate by going out to eat after Mass at El Campestre Dos restaurant. Thank you! 


ST. JOACHIM’S ADORATION OF THE LORD 

March 25th – March 27th: from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the small chapel. Except for Tuesday until 5:00 p.m. 

Holy Thursday, March 28th: there will not be adoration of the Lord from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed after the 7:00 p.m. mass until 12:00 a.m. (midnight) in the PARISH HALL. We encourage each parish organization (Grupo Oracion, Guadalupanos Society, Y.L.G.I #221, St. Joachim’s Altar Society) to dedicate at least half hour each organization to the adoration of the lord. 

Good Friday, March 29th: NO ADORATION TO THE LORD


Stations of the Cross 2024

On Good Friday, March 29, 2024 stations of the cross will be as follows: 

*11:00 a.m. stations of the cross in the Church 

*5:00 p.m. live stations of the cross, beginning at Pioneer Park 


Kermes for Children’s Day

There will be a Kermes for Children’s Day, organized by the Guadalupanos Society of St. Joachim’s on April 28th in the parish hall after the 11:00 a.m. mass. 


St. Joachim’s Fundraising Tri-Tip Dinner 

This will be a dine-in dinner only on April 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the parish hall. $10 for kids and $25 for adults.  

 

CRS Rice Bowls 

We again thank all those who are participating in the rice bowls. Rice bowls must be turned in on Easter day (March 31st) Thank you for your help!

 

Faith Formation Spring Break 

There will not be faith formation classes from April 1st – April 5th. Classes will resume the week of April 8th – 12th.

 Eucharist Ministry for the Sick

The Eucharist Ministry for the Sick at St. Joachim Church can visit the sick at home and administer holy communion. If you have a sick person at home who wants to receive the body of Christ, please call the parish office.

 

Pro-Life Rosary 

The Knights of Columbus will be having a Pro-Life Rosary every Monday after the 8:00a.m. Mass. Everyone is invited to join. 

 

St. Joachim’s Rosary Kneading Ministry 

Please we encourage everyone to be a part of the rosary kneading ministry. They meet every Wednesday after the Spanish 8:00 a.m. Mass in the parish hall.  

 

 Baptism Information 2024 

-Spanish Baptism scheduled on the second Saturday of each month. (No Spanish baptism in March, May, and December)

-English baptism scheduled on the third Saturday of each month. (No English baptism in February, March, and December)

-Please call the parish office for requirement information.


St. Joachim’s Church Important Notice

Food, drinks, chewing gum or the use of cell phones are not allowed in the Church. Please help maintain our church clean.  


Important Candle Announcement 

Please we ask to only light up plastic candles inside the church, these candles should be bought from the parish office. Glass candles are to take home and are not be light up inside the church. Thank you!
