Baptism Information 2026

-Spanish Baptism scheduled on the second Saturday of each month.

-English baptism scheduled on the third Saturday of each month.

NO baptisms will be celebrated during Lent, in the month of May or during Advent. Please call the parish office to register for baptismal class.

Retrouvaille is a program for married couples that would love a reboot but it’s also for those that feel bored, lonely, disillusioned, frustrated, or angry in their marriage. Mass intention book 2027

The parish book for Quinceañera and Wedding ceremonies, as well as Mass intentions for 2027, is now open!

For Quinceañera or Wedding reservations, an appointment with Fr. Kishor must be made first before a date can be reserved.

**Mass Intention Reservation Policy

To ensure that all parishioners have a fair opportunity to offer Mass intentions, the following policy will apply to weekend Mass intentions:

·      Each family may reserve up to 2 weekend Mass intentions per month.

·      Weekend Mass intentions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

·      Because each weekend Mass can accommodate only 4 intentions, space is limited.

·      Additional requests may be placed on a waiting list and will be accommodated as availability permits.

·      This policy is intended to give all parishioners an equal opportunity to have their loved ones remembered at a weekend Mass.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to serve our entire parish community fairly.



Parents Meeting

Important First Holy Communion Orientation

This orientation is for parents of BOTH 1^St and 2^nd First Holy Communion. Orientation is on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13^TH inside the Church, 3:00 p.m. in ENGLISH for both 1^st & 2^nd year First Communion

4:30p.m. SPANISH for both 1^st & 2^nd year First Communion.

Faith Formation Classes

Faith formation classes will begin the week of the 15^th! Please review your calendar for class date and time. For any questions regarding Faith Formation please call the Religious Education office at 209-862-2878.

St. Vincent de Paul Food Distribution

The St. Vincent de Paul food distribution date has been changed to Monday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. It will take place outside of St. Joachim’s Parish Hall.

Please note: The September distribution date has been changed due to Labor Day. This change applies only to the month of September and does not affect the distribution dates for any other months.

If you are interested in receiving food, please bring a valid ID and proof of Newman residence.

Please help us spread the word about this change and share this information with anyone who may benefit from the food distribution.

Young Ladies Grand Institute #221

The Y.L.G.I #221 will be having a meeting on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

There will be a finance council meeting on September 9th at 6:00 p.m. in classroom #1

Parish Pastoral Council Meeting

There will be a pastoral council meeting on September 10^th at 7:00 p.m. in classroom #1.
